Health Protocol During the COVID-19 Pandemic

It has been almost a year now that Covid-19 is still rampant in Indonesia.  Lately, the virus has spread again and is increasing in this country, that's why PPKM is held again (the implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities), to at least reduce the spread of the corona virus.  Since the beginning of this virus, we have always been reminded of the health protocols that have been determined by the government.  We must be more tolerant of that because it is intended to prevent the spread or transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

The health protocol is a series of rules issued by the government through the ministry of health to regulate the safety of long activities during the pandemic, in order to help the community to be able to carry out activities safely and also not to endanger the health of others.

In our country the health protocol is known as 3 m and more fully it becomes 5 m.  With this health protocol, the public is able and obedient to help prevent the transmission of the corona virus.  Here is the 5 m health protocol quoted from halodoc:

 1. Wash your hands

Regularly clean your hands for at least 20 seconds several times a day, especially before cooking or eating, after using the bathroom, after covering your nose when coughing or sneezing.

 2. Wearing a mask

Wearing a mask has become an obligation nowadays when we want to do activities outside the home, in order to prevent the transmission of the corona virus

 3. Keep your distance

Another health protocol that needs to be adhered to is social distancing.  This health protocol is contained in the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in the "Health Protocol for the Community in Public Places and Facilities in the Context of Prevention and Control of COVID-19."

There it is stated, maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter from other people to avoid getting droplets from people who are talking, coughing, or sneezing, as well as avoiding crowds, crowds, and crowds.

 4. Stay away from the crowd

People are asked to stay away from crowds when they are outside their homes, because the more and more people they meet, the higher the chance of getting infected with the corona virus.

 5. Reduced mobility

The corona virus is still spreading everywhere, so the more activities outside the home, the higher the possibility of being exposed to this virus.  Therefore, stay at home if there is no urgent need.

Because according to the Ministry of Health, even though you are healthy and have no symptoms of illness, you don't necessarily go home with the same condition.

It is true that defeating the spread and transmission of Covid-19 is not easy, but we can work harder and always be a minimal reminder to ourselves first by always obeying and implementing health protocols.
